The Ridge Senior High School is admitting students for the 2022/2023 academic year. We run both Cambridge and GES programs. WASSCE General Arts General Science
Currently there is no vacancy in our Reception Classes. The waiting list to Ridge School is always very long. Only children who have already turned four years are considered for entry into the Reception. There is only one in-take per year in September. Competence in English language is a pre-requisite. Each child is also given a ‘readiness for learning’ assessment when being considered for entry into the Reception.
There are no vacancies at our Admission to other classes in the Primary and the JHS section depends on available place in the relevant class and again if the child has previously attended Ridge School but for reason has been absent.
ADMISSION TO THE SHS SECTION
Admission is still ongoing at the SHS Section. JHS 2 students or Year 9 students will take an entrance examination followed by an interview and review of school reports for their admission into the IGCSE program. For the WASSCE program, admission will be based on BECE results, an entrance examination, followed by an interview.
