Children at Ridge School are assessed in the following ways:
- Through a test on entering the school
- Through weekly/bi-weekly class tests.
- Through their homework and projects.
- Through exams at the end of each term.
- Through continual observation by the teachers.
The class teachers write a report on the child and this is sent home with the child on the last day of each term.
In JHS 3 the children take the national examinations (B.E.C.E.) to earn the Basic Education Certificate.
At the SHS level, our GES students write the West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and all who undertake the Cambridge Assessment International Education program write the A’Level Examinations upon completion.
