The school provides some level of sex education for all children. Different approaches are used to meet the needs of the different age groups. This is in support of parents as the prime educators of their children.
Meetings are held and resource persons invited to have discussions on such matters. Topics discussed include:
- ‘growing up’
- teenage pregnancy
- sexually transmitted diseases.
As part of the curriculum, sex education is taught in class 5 and 6 as required by the Ghana Education Service. In the Junior High School, it is incorporated into Integrated Science, Life Skills and Religious and Moral Education Lessons.
